My Stampin' Up! projects

I made these cards last night. I used the Beautiful Butterflies Big Shot die (114507). You can find this die on page 222 of the Idea and Catalogue book found here. On the first card I used the Everyday Enchantement Paper. You can get this paper free when you make a purchase of 60$. I got this idea from Crafty Maria who I believe cased it from  http://smileslaura.blogspot.com/2011/04/triple-butterfly.html  . Hope you enjoy them.

The first one is the butterfly easel by itself. Great size to put on a gift box or use it as an any occasion stand alone card.

I added it to a 4-1/4 by 5-1/2 base card and added some interest using my new Edgelits adoring edgelits diecuts. (Item# 12559 of the occasions catalogue) I also used the butterfly punch (Item # 1984 of the Idea and catalogue book) to stamp the sentiment.

This card was also made using the Beautiful Butterflies Big Shot die. I also used the eyelet border punch (Item#119853 from the Idea & Catalogue book) and the Top Note Big Shot die (item#113463 Idea & Catalogue book. I made the flower from the Fancy flower punch (Item#118773-Idea & Catalogue book). You can find several tutorials on how to make the flower on you tube.

Digital page -case from a fellow Demonstrator- created with Everyday enchantement designer series paper  and stamp set. Both can be found in the Sell-a-bration catalogue. You can get the cd containing all products marked SAB in the sell-a-bration catalogue for free with a 60$ purchase.

.This is an indented card. I believe the tut is on splitcoast stampers. The paper is Everyday Enchantement Designer Series and the stamp set is Elementory Elegance. Both can be found in the Sell-a-bration catalogue. You can get the paper or the stamp set for free with a 60$ purchase.

This card uses the eylet border punch. (Item#119853), the new framelits die Labels Collection (Item #125598), the Everyday enchantment paper ((#126154 free with purchase of 60$). I also used the butterfly and the sentiment from the stamp set Elementory Elegance. (#125120 found in the SAB catalogue -free with a purchase of 60$.

The new pape doily is one of my favs.   I copied this card from the mini occasions catalogue.  I didn't yet have the beautiful butterflies die so I used my butterfly punch. I think it worked. Don't you? The item number for the paper doily is 125592.

Well the big day has come and gone. I hope yours was as great as ours. But now it is back to business. I am working on a big scrappin' day in January. Stampin' Up!'s new mini catalogue will be out the 4th of January. I have the privilige of getting a sneak peak and it is just wonderful. I can't say any more. It has to stay hush hush until then. Until then, don't forget to take advantage of Stampin' Up!'s blitz liquidation. Many of the old style punches are at very low prices. Get them while they last!

My cards almost 100% Stampin' Up!

Good day,
I would like to show you some cards I made with my new Stampin' Up! tools. The pennant parade as you can see can make any occasion cards. Here are just a few ideas.

Look what can be done with a 1 inch punch!

This wreath was made from the 1-3/4" scallop punch and the 1" punch.

I had to make a birthday card for may grandson. I used the "Build a cupcake stamp set, the stampwheel "Cupcakes and the cupcake punch. It was soooo easy to make a matching envelope

*The stamp sets used in the projects above can be found in the Ideas & Catalogue Book.

What is your favorite manual cutting machine?

There are several manual cutting machines on the market. Today I am going to talk about three of them.
The Cuttlebug by Provo Craft, The Grand Calibur by Spellbinders and my new favorite, The Big Shot.

The Cuttlebug was my first. I enjoyed using it until I blacklisted Provo Craft. I will no longer purchase any Provo Craft products. When I purchased the Cuttlebug, it was the only one I knew of. Since then Provo Craft has found ways to make people use only their products. It no longer comes with the C plate and it is very difficult to find one on the net. I broke mine and it took me over a month to find a new one. I wouldn't be surprised if they stopped making them. They don't want us to use the wafer thin dies from other companies. Another  downside is that it does not take more than a 5-3/4" paper. There are mostly embossing folders, and few cut and  emboss dies.

The Grand Calibur- While I like this machine, it is a little awkward to bring to crops. You can fit a sheet of 8-1/2" paper and the large dies mesure about 8-3/4". I have yet to use the grand dies. It does not however take the Sizzix original dies, nor can you cut more than one or two sheets at a time. So I can't use my sizzix dies.

The Big Shot- Now there is a machine. It does not weigh much and fits nicely in it's own bag or any shopping bag. This makes it easy to take to crops. It takes sheets of paper of about 6-1/8" which is about the maximum size I use anyway. We can still use all the spellbinder dies (except the largest grand dies). With the original sizzix dies you can cut many sheets at one time. The only down side I can find is that one has to order the embossing pad separately, but Stampin' Up! sells them and you can order it from me!
Also, Stampin' Up! has it's own exclusif dies which are gorgeous and they coordinate with many of their exclusif stamp sets. . I especially love the top note.
So of course, The Big Shot is now my favorite machine!
If you want to order the Big Shot or already have a die cutting machine and want some of Stampin' Up!'s exclusif stamps or dies, call me an I will tell you how you can get Stampin' Up! products free!
